nonprofit with 11 different locations

Texas Adoption Center is a non-profit in Round Rock, Texas. We’re not gonna lie…when Texas Adoption first came to Markitors, we were doing everything we could to drive the needle. Nothing was working. When month 3 of our engagement came along, Texas Adoption was on the verge of closing their doors. Something had to give.

As a nonprofit, Texas Adoption Center couldn’t afford to pay $25 per click on competitive adoption placement keywords. AdGrants, with their $2 per click limitations at the time, certainly wasn’t doing any good. Texas Adoption Center had to find an alternative way to compete online through keyword searches, which left Local SEO as the best marketing tactic to help support their 11 different locations around the state.

Markitors deployed a Local SEO campaign for each location around the state.  The Local SEO strategy Markitors developed called for the development of optimized landing pages and blog posts targeting local keywords. Local business listings for each location were verified for consistency, accuracy, and completeness. Finally, a targeted backlink strategy was deployed on the local level to drive referral traffic and local domain authority.

Texas Adoption Center went from being close to closing their doors to the largest adoption agency in Texas within 2 years.

Their website now quite literally works miracles, connecting birth mothers with adoptive families at a rate much higher than competitors. Their important nonprofit work is made possible first and foremost by the amazing staff behind the scenes, with a hat tip to first page rankings on Google for some very pertinent keywords.

Texas Adoption Center has been a client of Markitors for several years, originally coming to us for all digital marketing services, including SEO, paid ad management, social media, and email marketing. Since then, we’ve narrowed in on what we do best – SEO optimization on the local level.
