#1 E-COMMERCE SEO COMPANY

Turn visitors into customers with e-commerce SEO.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the process of increasing a website’s visibility on search engine results pages (SERPs). SEO efforts bring increased organic website traffic, which leads to a higher conversion rate and more sales for e-commerce companies.

Simply put, SEO brings customers to you.

SEO companies use a range of techniques to boost websites up SERPs.

Things usually begin with the development of a keyword-research-backed SEO strategy. Then, technical website audits are used to improve search engine compatibility. And no good SEO strategy would be complete without backlinking and digital PR to build brand awareness.

At Markitors we’ve packaged our SEO services into four main categories:

  • Digital PR
  • SEO Content
  • Local SEO
  • Technical SEO

On top of that, you’ll get detailed monthly reports at the end of each money to keep you informed of our efforts and relevant key performance indicators (KPIs).

So if you’re looking to boost the bottom line this quarter, feel free to contact us or give us a call at (480) 550-6336.

E-commerce SEO services are the perfect way to drive high-converting traffic to your website. E-commerce SEO focuses on conversion optimization. In other words, turning website traffic into paying customers.

By producing quality keyword-research-backed content, using website analytics from a variety of SEO tools, optimizing product pages, and adding schema to pages, e-commerce SEO can reliably increase sales.

At the end of the day e-commerce SEO is about finding the right traffic for your business—and that means more sales.

Schema Markup uses a vocabulary of microdata you can add to your site’s HTML code called Schema.org to help search engines better create rich snippets. Rich snippets are created and used by Google based on HTML code to add better information to website search results.

Essentially what happens is schema.org data is put into rich snippets within search results. This provides extra data for search engines, moving sites up search engine results pages (SERPs) and giving them more visibility through unique add-ons. They also provide extra information for customers including reviews and more under website listings.

That’s why you’ll see results for Google Books with reviews under the listing in the form of stars, those were added through rich snippets, which were created via Schema Markup.

For e-commerce, you can add information on pricing, whether a product is in stock, reviews, and star ratings. All of these help educate customers about your product without even having to leave Google’s search results page.

If all of this is sounding a little confusing, we could understand why. Feel free to reach out to us with any questions at (480) 550-6336 we’re always happy to help.

There are so many aspects to a complete SEO strategy, from quality SEO content to digital PR efforts that build brand awareness.

When it comes to SEO for e-commerce, one of the best ways to get started is with technical SEO & site structure. Specifically, by optimizing on-page content for search engines, e-commerce sites can improve traffic and sales conversions.

Technical SEO works to correct or optimize the following and more:

  • Sitemaps
  • Duplicate Content
  • User Experience
  • Internal Linking
  • Broken Links
  • Breadcrumbs
  • ALT Text
  • File names
  • Structured Data
  • Site Speed

If all that sounds a little out of your wheelhouse, why not call in the experts?

Feel free to contact us or give us a call at (480) 550-6336 for more information.

When it comes to e-commerce, the pages that matter most are where you make sales—product pages. As an SEO agency for e-commerce we understand our efforts should be focused on improving traffic for these pages first.

Optimizing product pages is one of the best ways to make sure website traffic turns into sales. At Markitors, we use a variety of tactics to optimize these pages including, but not limited to:

  • Creating internal linking structure.
  • Optimizing titles tags, meta descriptions, ALT text, and more.
  • Including product reviews and high quality images.
  • Including long-tail keywords from research in descriptions.
  • Creating unique product descriptions.
  • Utilizing rich snippets.
  • Optimizing pages for mobile shoppers.
  • Testing and Retesting to improve user experience.

After that, we’ll continue with our holistic approach to SEO, improving web traffic on all your pages including:

  • Product Category Pages
  • Subcategory Pages
  • Homepage
  • Landing Pages
  • High-Quality, Keyword-Backed Blog Content

Click-through and conversion rates are crucial key performance indicators (KPIs) for e-commerce companies.

click-through rate (CTR) is the ratio of the total number of visitors to a site versus the number who click on a specific link. For e-commerce SEO, it’s the number of customers who click links to pages where visitors become paying customers—product pages.

conversion rate is the ratio of the total number of visitors to a site versus the number who end up buying a product or service.

One way SEO companies help increase conversion and click-through rates is by optimizing HTML source code, meta descriptions, page title tags, rich snippets and more with Technical SEO. That brings in organic traffic by moving your website up search engine results pages.

According to a recent survey of Google ranking factors, 15.44% of how Google ranks a business is dependent on reviews. This includes how active a business is in responding to both positive and negative reviews.

That’s why managing customer reviews, local citations, and business listings through Local SEO is always a part of increasing conversion rates.

Finally, having an engaging social media presence can help put things over the top and make your conversion and click-through rates what your business needs to thrive.

On-page SEO is one of the most important factors in driving conversions for e-commerce websites. These days, if customers aren’t confident in the e-commerce websites’ functionality and quality, then they’re unlikely to make a purchase.

On-page SEO focuses on optimizing blog content, category pages, product pages and HTML source code on your website.

This not only improves the site for customers, but also for search engines. On-page SEO makes it easy for search engines to find your product pages and put your site on the first page of search results.

On-page SEO services include everything from improving internal links, header tags, and unique product descriptions to creating quality content that draws in customers.

The Google Guarantee is a program affiliated with Google ads. It is available to a plumber who advertises on Google using Local Services ads.

The Google Guarantee protects a customer when they hire a Google Guaranteed plumber. Potential customers see the Google Guarantee icon on Google Ads next to covered plumbers. Customers can use the Call and Send request contact options on these listings to contact the plumber or HVAC company.

When a customer uses voice search (such as Google Home) to find a plumber, they will hear confirmation that the business is Google Guaranteed. When a customer calls a plumber from their device, they are protected by the Google Guarantee.

But, there’s a catch. A customer must book plumbing services through Google Local Services. They can’t contact the plumber through a phone number or through the plumbing website. If they do, then the customer is not protected by the Google Guarantee.

If you’re a plumber, you can apply to get the Google Guarantee by signing up for Local Services ads. These results show select local plumbing businesses in your area. Those with the “Google Guaranteed” badge pay Google to appear in these results. They are screened and are guaranteed to get the job done right or a customer gets their money back with a lifetime cap of $2,000. Those without the badge are less extensively screened. They do not pay to appear and aren’t guaranteed by Google.

Selecting the right keywords is critical to a successful SEO strategy. Generally, specific keywords are selected using a number of strategies including:

  • Insights on search volume and difficulty scores from keyword research tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Google Search, and Google Search Console.
  • Competitors’ keyword successes and failures.
  • In-depth industry research and analysis

When it comes to e-commerce we have several specific tactics we like to employ in order to target the right audience for sales.

First, we tend to focus on more specific keywords when it comes to e-commerce SEO. That’s because the highest ranking keywords are dominated by multinational companies that small businesses struggle to compete with.

Take the keyword ‘men’s clothing’ that averages 26,000 monthly searches in the US. The top organic and paid search results for a keyword with this level of traffic will always be companies like Nordstrom and Macy’s. So it’s difficult to compete here.

Instead e-commerce companies need to get more specific. One great way to do that is by targeting more specific, long-tailed keywords that have ‘purchase intent’ which can increase conversion rates.

Imagine you’re looking to buy a new computer. You’re probably not going to just type in something like ‘computers’ or ‘computers near me’. Nonetheless many times these are the keywords companies will attempt to rank for. This brings in website traffic, but from people who were looking for the history of computers, stats on computer sales, and a variety of other searches unrelated to your business.

By adding in purchase intent keywords like ‘buy’, ‘where to buy’, ‘best place to buy’, and more you can target an audience that will actually convert into sales. Additionally, adding more details to keywords to target more niche categories and products, like ‘buy 15 inch Dell laptop’, narrows down competition. Specificity matters in e-commerce SEO—and that’s one of the many things we offer here at Markitors.

SEO will take anywhere from 4-12 months, depending on a number of factors:

  • First, keyword research. What search terms your business is trying to rank for, whether you’re using long-tail keywords, all of this will determine the time it takes for SEO to start working its magic.
  • Second, content marketing. It takes time to develop search engine optimized blog content that is valuable to a human audience.
  • Third, link building. Building brand awareness through guest posts, quote placements, press releases and more isn’t an overnight process.
  • Finally, there’s site architecture. Optimizing your site with technical SEO takes time. And some sites are simpler than others.

At this time, we don’t offer SEO services for Amazon. The only e-commerce platforms we do SEO for are Shopify and WordPress (WooCommerce).

As an e-commerce SEO company we understand that ROI matters, that’s why we offer transparent pricing so you can determine if your services are right for your business.

E-commerce SEO will cost anywhere from $1500 to $2500 a month. That includes digital PR, SEO content, technical SEO, local SEO, and monthly reporting.

When it comes to e-commerce, everyone knows Amazon, Walmart, and other giants that dominate the industry. That means a lot of product searches happen directly through these companies’ websites.

Still, organic search is directly tied to 23.6% of e-commerce orders. While PPC advertising was tied to just 17% and email marketing campaigns only 15%, according to data from Business Insider.

On top of that, the high cost of PPC advertising for e-commerce means SEO can help reduce costs for our clients and that’s always a win.

Finally, the value of organic search for B2B and B2C enterprises can’t be understated. Study after study has shown that organic search brings reliable, high-conversion traffic to e-commerce sites.

Knowing just how effective our services can be for e-commerce companies is pretty exciting to us.

SEO is the best marketing strategy for online businesses because of its low-cost, effective, and also offers long-term, consistent results.

For example, SEO services can help reduce your PPC advertising costs, offering improved ROI.

PPC is expensive for e-commerce because there are three basic types of search intent: navigationalinformational, and commercial. E-commerce companies compete for commercial keywords which are the most competitive and costly of the bunch.

On top of that SEO helps improve organic traffic more than any other marketing tactic—and that drives more sales than PPC or social media. In fact, according to a recent BrightEdge study” organic search drives 51% of all visitors to B2B and B2C websites, while paid search only accounted for 10% and social media just 5%.
